  • Q: Umm… Is it safe?

    A:

    Your safety and privacy are our top concerns. Your information is securely stored in a steel vault, on a submarine, in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, guarded by Samurai warriors in scuba gear!

    But really… We use SSL cryptographic protocols identical to those used by your bank to protect your information. We use your address solely for delivery of gifts and never share them with the sender or indeed anyone else!

  • Q: Do I need Facebook to send a SwiftGift?

    A:

    Nope! The SwiftGift App is free to download, and doesn’t require registration to browse. When making a purchase you can register with just an email address (but we also offer Facebook login for those who wanna save time). Simples!

  • Q: How fast can you deliver?

    A:

    Virtual delivery of your gift is instant - it happens the moment that your recipient opens their Magic Link! So you could literally be outside the door about to enter a birthday party empty-handed, and send the birthday-boy a link to his gift! This is truly last minute gifting!

    Physical delivery happens a bit later - each retailer who sells on SwiftGift has their own delivery options for you to choose from when buying your gift. All information can be found under the item description.

  • Q: Do you have next day delivery?

    A:

    Some gifts are indeed available for next day delivery.

    Gentle reminder: it pretty much doesn’t matter when the physical gift arrives. Virtual delivery (the Magic Link) is instant. This is what really matters. Perfect for those last minute "oh-damn-it-I-completely-forgot" moments.

    Different merchants and items have different delivery options. Please check carefully in the item descriptions. Delivery time starts from the moment your Recipient accepts the gift (not from when you order it).

  • Q: What kind of gifts do you have?

    We spend a LOT of time, searching the furthest corners of the world to get the stuff that’s hard to find. We bring into one App the latest gadgets, the coolest novelty gifts, the most desirable fashion accessories and most yummy chocs and flowers. Gifts that really WOW!

  • Q: Do I have to pay extra to attach a personalised message? There won’t be an invoice inside my gift, will there?

    We take care of everything: Your gift will arrive with no invoice inside, and you can attach a personalised gift message too (you can even add a selfie!) - this is all included in the SwiftGift experience!

  • Q: How long does the Recipient have to accept a gift?

    A:

    After you buy a gift and send the “Magic Link” to your Recipient, they have 7 days to accept. You will notified in real time (via push notifications) as they open the “Magic Link” and accept your gift!

    If the gift is not accepted within 7 days, the Magic Link expires (don’t worry, you won’t be charged a penny).

  • Q: Can I send gifts abroad?

    A:

    At the top of the SwiftGift store you can find a country toggle. You will be presented with all the items that are available for delivery within the chosen country. Be sure to select the country that is the location of your Recipient (not your own location).

    Currently we have three separate stores: USA, UK and mainland Europe.

    More countries are constantly being added so watch this space!

  • Q: How does payment work?

    A:

    When you check out and send a gift on SwiftGift, we only authorise your card - no charge is made. Money is only debited from your account once your Recipient accepts the gift. If your gift isn’t accepted - you won’t be charged at all.

    Apple asked us to build an SwiftGift iMessage App for them - and so we did. An award-winning one at that!

    You can find it in the dedicated iMessage App store on any Apple device. It works like a sticker keyboard, only instead of boring stickers you can send real physical gifts, in literally 3 taps. It’s a revolution!

  • Q: I am a retailer/brand. Can I sell my stuff on SwiftGift?

  • Q: What about your prices? Is SwiftGift more expensive than other websites?

    A:

    We are an aggregator meaning that we search the world and bring you the best items we can find - all under one roof. We display items at the same price as they are sold for by the original retailer. So a Harvey Nichols candle will cost the same on SwiftGift as on Harvey Nichols. We don’t mark up our prices, and don’t charge any hidden or additional fees. We earn our commissions directly from the retailers - not our customers!

    Don’t forget - we aren’t just an Amazon App. With SwiftGift there is additional "magic sauce" or our curation and ability to gift using Magic Links. All of this is included in the price.

  • Q: What is better to give or to receive?

  • Q: What if my Recipient doesn’t accept my gift? Do I lose my money?

    A:

    Heavens no! Your card is authorised when you place an order and is only debited if your Recipient actually accepts the gift. If they don’t accept, you aren’t charged a penny!

  • Q: What do I do if my gift has not arrived/ is damaged?

    A:

    Oh dear. We deal ruthlessly with retail partners who don’t deliver with the quality and reliability that our customers have come to expect from SwiftGift!

    If your item has not arrived as scheduled, or is damaged, please contact us via the feedback button inside the App or by email on support@swiftgift.me. Mention your order number and exactly what went wrong.

    We will get in touch with the retailer that supplied your gift, and give them a piece of our mind! We will always go the extra mile to ensure we help you resolve the problem. Our customer happiness is our absolute number 1 priority!

  • Q: There has been a problem with sending the gift link. Can I re-send it?

    A:

    But of course dear Sir/Madam! After checkout you will see a screen with the “Magic Link” ready to be shared.

    Additionally, we will send you an email with your order details and the Magic Link, so you can re-send the link to your recipient as many times as you like, across any platforms you choose.

    You can send the Magic Link to their email, Facebook, Whatsapp, Text Message, Tinder... Whatever you like. As many times as you like.

  • Q: Why do I need to provide my email address when placing an order for a SwiftGift?

    A:

    We will use your email address to send you a receipt of your order for your records. (Once you are a registered user, you will be able to checkout seamlessly and we will be able to give you additional perks such as gift coins and other bonuses.)
